Happy Sunday!

Life is a Series of Possibilities - 30-Day Journal

Hello, my dear ones!

Happy Sunday! This is the start of a new day, a new week, with a full moon tomorrow, and new opportunities for us to dive into. I just realized we have only four and a half months left in this "year"—can you imagine it?

Normally, I would focus on what’s left to do and what I haven’t yet accomplished. But today, I decided to change the playlist—(I’d say change the record, but I don’t know if you all would get the joke. Hahaha)—and focus on everything I’ve completed in my lifetime, and those times when I didn’t think I’d make it, but the Most High brought me through.

So let’s take a deep breath together and be in the now for just a moment.

That's better!

Checking in with ourselves

How are you guys feeling lately? I would love to know. We go through our days, months, and years, rarely checking in on ourselves until something alarms us to do so. Starting today, I’d like to invite you to join me for a daily 30-day check-in. Then, next month, we can share the impact of this daily practice and what we discovered about ourselves. Here are a few prompts to get started:

  1. What has been occupying my mind as of late?
  2. How does my body feel, is there any discomfort?
  3. What is my current mood: sad, happy, fearful, anxious...

I will check in with you guys next month.

Looking at failures as opportunities for growth

If you’re anything like me, when I heard this for the umpteenth time, I rolled my eyes hard. Like, for real, I did not want to hear that BS. lol. But recently, I did an episode where I discussed how "failures" can symbolize information we need to gather to complete our journey. Sometimes, we might have to start over in certain areas of our lives more than once. Check out the short episode here.

What I have been up to?

Well, I’m still in transition and haven’t yet gotten the green light on where to move next. I swear I’m almost accepting being a nomad, lol. But deep in my heart, I crave a yard (or a balcony) where I can plant something—maybe some green onions—and enjoy my artsy home. What do you crave?

I am getting myself in gear (mentally) for going back to school next month so I can finish my Behavioral Health Science degree. My "buy me a cup of coffee" fund is open ==>> $raphasilva (no pressure - lol)

I wish you guys the best week ahead.

Love, Raphaella.

Prayer DOES NOT change things. ...it removes obstacles, guides, sustains, and connects. Everything that belongs to you is already yours. Just as in the garden, the resources were available before Adam and Eve’s arrival—EVERYTHING! So, what is the need for prayer if we know that all of our desires, when aligned with our purpose, are certain to come to pass? Check out my latest podcast episode, "Prayer DOES NOT Change Things," where I discuss how prayer can help bring clarity and certainty to...

Have you Heard of Complicated Grief? I hadn’t! Until I realized I was experiencing it. Complicated grief is a prolonged lasting reaction to loss. Situations where people cannot get over the fact that someone is gone or they keep relieving the occurrence of the loss. Those who are experiencing complicated grief often feel stuck in a particular emotion and they can see to move past it. Most times the loss was either traumatic, sudden death suicide, or lack of closure from a relationship....

Turning Disappointments into Possibilities - A Workshop Hello Dear Ones, When was the last time you felt disappointed because something didn’t work out as you intended? How long have you been holding onto it? You’ve tried to let it go, but every time you think about it, it feels like you’re reliving it all over again, and the urge to cry stirs up. This could be a sign that something deeper lies beneath that emotion, and the only way to discover it—and ultimately let it go—is by becoming aware...
